Johnny and his Ramirez Motorsports team took part in four more consecutive shows as the USMTS Hunt for the National Championship hit its stride. Wednesday evening they raced at Amsoil Speedway in Superior, Wisconsin. He had a good car all evening as he passed five cars in his heat to run 2nd. The redraw put him on the pole for the feature and he finished 2nd. Thursday they traveled to Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Johnny won his heat and finished the main event 6th. Friday they headed south to Bob Timm's Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wisconsin. Johnny had a bad draw for his heat race and ran 6th. Next up was the B Main. He started deep in it as well, and managed a 9th place finish. Luckily he had a provisional for the feature and worked forward to a 14th place finish. Saturday they raced at Ogilvie Speedway in Ogilvie, Minnesota. Johnny finished his heat 7th. in the B Main he raced to 3rd, and he knocked off three spots in the feature to finish 15th.
